Silver. Cast, embossed, engraved, gold-gilded Silversmith A. Ridl
The entire surface of this rimmon is gilded that makes the item especially beautiful. It is richly decorated with the open-worked embossed acanthus leaves, stems, flowers and pearls, a pattern characteristic of the neobaroque style. The rimmon is topped by a crown and a statuette of an eagle with spread wings. The hollow cylindrical stand bears an inscription in Hebrew:"Riva, the daughter of rabbi Haim". |
